Doug Stevenson is the CEO of Story Theater International, a Colorado Springs based
speaking, training and consulting firm. He is the creator and author of Doug Stevenson's
Story Theater Method.
Doug is a master storyteller and storytelling in business expert. He is a former columnist
for the Denver Business Journal, and the author of The How to Write and Deliver a
Dynamite Speech System for crafting inspiring motivational speeches. He specializes in
coaching business professionals and executives on strategic storytelling, masterful
motivational speaking and emotional eloquence.
Stevenson was a professional actor in Chicago and Hollywood for over 16 years. He
acted on stage in everything from Snoopy to Shakespeare, and in movies and TV. While
in Hollywood, he owned a successful carpentry and remodeling business.
He escaped Hollywood in 1985 and after finding a new home in Colorado Springs,
tapped into his entrepreneurial talent again and found success with his real estate
brokerage, Sherlock's Homes. He followed that success with a 16-year professional
speaking career that has taken him all over the US and to Canada, Australia, England,
Ireland, Denmark, Austria, Germany and Singapore.
