360 Leadership Group exists for one purpose, to share time-proven principles of team building that can be applied in any organization and any industry or sector.
From experience building and rebuilding a new team each year, 4 former Blue Angel pilots can teach your organization critical takeaways for success, developed throughout their 78-year history.

Tom Frosch
Tom Frosch is a native of Clinton Township, Michigan. He attended the U.S. Naval Academy, where he lettered in football and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in 1992. During his 24-year naval career, Tom served in three operational F/A-18 squadrons, including command of one, and as a test pilot for two years. He deployed seven times on five different aircraft carriers, including combat missions in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. Tom served as commanding officer and flight leader of the Blue Angels and led the Team for three seasons until 2015. Tom translates the lessons he mastered in this wide variety of team leadership roles into practical insights for leaders in any industry or setting.

John Hiltz
John Hiltz, Fort Mitchell, KY, graduated from the University of Notre Dame (B.S. Civil Engineering; cum laude) where he played basketball. John brings a dynamic blend of leadership and expertise to the public speaking arena. As a Navy fighter pilot and right wingman of the US Navy Blue Angels, he ripped through the skies in the F/A-18, both in training and combat. With experience leading Navy recruitment in the Pacific Northwest and serving as Chief of Staff for a classified strategic unit in the Pacific region, John’s insights transcend boundaries, inspiring audiences with tales of precision, teamwork, and relentless pursuit of excellence.

Nate Barton
Nate Barton is a 2002 graduate of the US Merchant Marine Academy, where he played basketball and majored in Logistics. Throughout his 21 years of service, Nate flew seven different aircraft from aircraft carriers around the world, including combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. From 2013 to 2015, Nate had the honor of serving as the Blue Angels Left Wing Pilot (#3) and Slot Pilot (#4). As safety officer for the team, Nate had an “inside – outside” view of the team-building process. A dynamic leader, aviator, and team-builder, he concluded his Naval service commanding an award-winning EA-18G Growler squadron through a Western Pacific deployment.

Ryan Chamberlain
Ryan Chamberlain, from Bloomington, IL, has been a super-achiever all his life, graduating from high school at age 16 and from Southern Illinois University (B.S. Aviation Management; magna cum laude) at age 18. He earned an M.S. in Business Analytics from Indiana University. He flew as a commercial pilot at the age of 18 before being commissioned as a Naval officer. Serving in various leadership positions during combat operations in the US Navy as an F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot, he demonstrated those skills during his time as a Blue Angels solo pilot, traveling the country and showcasing Naval Aviation to hundreds of thousands of spectators each year. Currently flying as a Captain at FedEx Express, Ryan has a unique ability to translate military precision and excellence to civilian audiences as he “bridges the gap” between varying backgrounds and skillsets; showing that any organization can thrive if the right principles are followed.
