An entrepreneur for 25 years, primarily in the hospitality industry, Bob Pacanovsky and his team created over 7,000 meetings, events, receptions and had one opportunity to create both a “wow experience” and a lasting impression on his clients and guests.
Now as a keynote speaker and strategic trainer, he uses his two decades of working “in the trenches” to teach companies how to focus on Service Excellence and Hospitality to cultivate more loyal and raving clients and employees (aka Brand Ambassadors). This in in turn improves revenue, productivity, retention, and engagement for any organization, as well as its bottom line. When this happens, you create Black Tie Experiences that become memorable and habit-forming.
Bob has been in your shoes as an event and meeting planner, and he knows how much work goes into planning and executing meetings, conferences and events. Bob believes that hiring a speaker should be an easy process and he carries the same philosophy with him as we did when we owned his hospitality company- one of his job’s is to make you, the meeting planner, look good.
A meeting planner that Bob worked with said, “Our attendees loved Bob and his message! He’s totally engaging, and we loved his entire presentation!” Additionally, he is incredibly easy to work with, timely and very professional – a meeting planner’s dream.”
Bob puts his focus on YOU, his customers, and creates your customized presentation. It has your language, your trends, your challenges, etc. He puts himself in your shoes and makes sure that he delivers what you need, not what he wants to speak about.
Bob has worked with organizations in industries like travel/tourism, healthcare, hospitality, association management, attractions, banking, accounting, and more. He has also achieved Professional Membership in the National Speakers Association and is a Past-President of his chapter.
The 5 Essential Laws of Hospitality (to build Loyalty, Retention, and Revenue)
Do you exceed the expectations of your customers so that they become brand ambassadors for your organization? In this Keynote seminar, you will discover how to identify and implement the Principles of Hospitality and Service Excellence that turn ordinary Customer Service transactions into Black Tie Customer Experiences!
You’ll learn why most people forget about good service, but that they always remember the hospitality that is shown to them. And when that happens, they become your brand ambassadors who can’t wait to tell others how you have made them feel. Bob will share the principles that he learned from being an entrepreneur for over twenty years on what it takes to implement both hospitality and service excellence into your organization. This improves loyalty, productivity, engagement, and ultimately your bottom line.
If you’re looking for a competitive advantage that will separate you from the rest in your industry, this seminar that is customized to meet your business needs is for you!

Eight Traits of Hospitality Leadership
The Gallup study tells us that only 33% of employees are actively engaged today at work. Morale is low, people are being worked harder and appreciated less and less. How do we change this mindset within our companies? It starts with not just leadership, but hospitality leadership. In this seminar, we will look at the eight traits of Hospitality Leadership that help us focus on understanding that we are in the people business first, and foremost. Traits like trust, collaboration, and appreciation, which may seem to many as common sense, are not a part of the common practice for some leaders today. With these traits in place, everyone can become a stronger and more selfless leader.
From Fear to Fortitude- The steps needed to move forward
What if you were given the opportunity to do the one thing that put the most fear in you? Would you do it? For most of us the answer would probably be not just “no”, but “heck no!” We all have fears, some are larger for us than others. How we manage these fears are critical for our physical and mental wellbeing. What if you could look fear in the face and tell it- “Nope, I got this now. I’ve got you and all of this under control.”
Is it easy? No. Can it be done? Absolutely. And Bob is living proof of it. He took his biggest fear, something that he would have never thought he would be able to do, and is making a living with it. Shifting your mindset from Fear to Fortitude is a presentation that he was not going to give, ever. In his mind, it was easier for him to hide his fear from himself, as well as others. But then he lost a bet with someone who is very important in his life, and he needed (and wanted) to honor that bet. He realized that it’s okay to have fears, but it’s even better to have fortitude to look that fear right in the face and know that you can manage it! This just isn’t a feel-good and inspirational story. It’s a story that will give you actionable items that you can implement in your journey, whatever that may be.
